One. The connection between the saddle and the traction pin:

1. The traction height of the semi-trailer, the size of the traction sheath, the front turning radius, the gap radius, etc. must match the tractor, and checks should be made before connection to avoid the following situations:

The specification of the traction pin is inconsistent with that of the traction saddle;

The towing height of the semi-trailer does not match the height of the towing saddle of the tractor, and the forward or backward inclination of the saddle after the semi-trailer is connected to the tractor exceeds the normal allowable range;

The front turning radius and clearance radius of the semi-trailer do not match the tractor, and the semi-trailer collides with the tractor components when turning.

2. Carefully check whether there is sand, dust or other foreign matter on the working surface of the tractor saddle and the traction pin and traction pin plate of the semi-trailer, and whether there is enough lubricating grease.

3. Adjust the supporting legs so that the height of the traction pin plate of the semi-trailer is compatible with the height of the traction saddle. Generally, the traction pin plate of the semi-trailer is 1-3 cm lower than the center position of the upper plane of the traction saddle of the tractor. Be careful not to be too high Otherwise, sometimes it will not only fail to connect, but also damage the traction seat, traction pin and related parts.

4. Operate the locking mechanism of the traction seat to open the locking block and become a free state.

5. Back the tractor slowly, so that the traction pin of the semi-trailer enters the opening of the locking mechanism through the V-shaped opening of the traction seat, and then the traction pin pushes the locking block to rotate, and locks the traction pin;

When the tractor is reversed, the centerlines of the tractor and the semi-trailer should be kept consistent. The offset between the centerlines of the two vehicles should be ≤40 mm, and the angle between the two centerlines should be ≤5° when fully loaded and ≤7° when no-load.

6. After aligning the saddle port of the tractor with the traction pin, reverse the vehicle slowly until the "click" sound is heard, and when the locking block returns to its position, the tractor and the semi-trailer are towed successfully;

Check whether the locking block of the traction saddle locking mechanism has locked the traction pin, and whether the locking is safe and reliable; move the tractor forward a little, and check whether the connection is good.

Second. Precautions for saddle and traction pin:

As the key components connecting the tractor and the trailer, the saddle and the traction pin belong to the force-bearing parts during the running of the trailer train. The saddle and traction pin must be safe and reliable during the operation of the vehicle;

1. When used for the first time, the saddle needs to be filled with lubricating grease, and the lubricating grease should be replaced regularly, and the grease has no impurities or deterioration;

2. If the gap between the trailer and the saddle is too large, it should be adjusted in time;

3. When the wear limit of the traction pin is reached, the traction pin must be replaced.

After the traction pin is replaced, the traction pin fastener must be replaced, and the safety bolt has an anti-loosening function and can only be used once. When replacing the safety bolt, please use the original regular product, and do not use other products instead!
