What are the car buying factors that people often pay attention to when purchasing tractor heavy truck products? Three big pieces? Cab configuration? In fact, there is such an "accessory", which is often overlooked by our card friends. Looking at the entire tractor, although this "accessory" is very inconspicuous and the material is very simple, it has a very huge role; it is an indispensable component for connecting the trailer: the saddle.

It is understood that the accessory saddle was invented as early as 1911, and it has a history of 111 years. The main function of the saddle is a component used by the tractor to connect the trailer. After years of development, the saddle has also produced many structures and forms, such as one-way and two-way swing forms; stamping and casting processes; lubrication-free , high-strength wear-resistant materials, etc.

It is not difficult to see that after many years of development, the function and structure of the saddle have been further refined, and each different saddle has applicable working conditions and scenarios. Next, the editor will take everyone together to learn more about the definition and classification of saddles!

Definition of saddle: an essential component to connect the trailer

According to the definition in Truck Home Encyclopedia, the saddle of a tractor is a horseshoe-shaped wear-resistant steel plate that can swing. The trailer pressure acts on this plate (usually buttered), and there is a semicircular hole with a notch in its center. The hole walls are made of impact-resistant forged steel.

There is a rotatable U-shaped plate under the semicircular hole with a notch in the center, which is made of forgings 2cm thick. Behind the U-shaped plate is a forged steel baffle plate with a thickness of 2cm and a width of 15cm, which can be twitched left and right in the guide groove. . Once the baffle is pulled away, the opening of the U-shaped plate is turned to the rear. When the trailer kingpin crashes into the semicircle hole, the opening of the U-shaped plate will rotate to the side, and at this time, the tailgate will automatically return to its position under the action of the spring, and the side wall will hold the U-shaped plate tightly to position the trailer kingpin. Between the U-shaped plate and the half-circle hole.

Structure of the saddle: mainly composed of five parts

Generally speaking, the structure of the saddle can be divided into five parts:

1. Saddle body: The saddle body is the main part of the saddle, mainly composed of seat cover (shell), front frame plate, rear frame plate, M-shaped frame plate, frame inner ear, frame outer ear, U-shaped plate , Tail slide cover and other components.

2. Bracket: The bracket mainly plays a fixed role, and is generally connected through the saddle bottom plate and the vehicle frame.

3. Pull rod: The main function of the pull rod is to control the lateral movement of the inclined iron, so as to realize the separation of the lock hook and the saddle. When the vehicle is running, the pull rod is fixed by the locking boss to ensure the stability of the vehicle.

4. Inclined iron: The lateral movement of the inclined iron is controlled by the pull rod, and the locking hook is assisted to rotate at a certain angle to realize the locking and separation of the traction pin.

5. Locking hook: When the inclined iron is in a proper position, the U-shaped locking hook will be pulled by the spring and then rotate around the pin seat at a certain angle to realize the locking and separation of the traction pin.
