The principle of the air suspension is to change the height of the vehicle by using an air compressor to form compressed air and sending the compressed air to the air chamber of the spring and the damper. A vehicle height sensor is arranged in the vicinity of the front wheel and the rear wheel. According to the output signal of the vehicle height sensor, the microcomputer determines the change of the height of the vehicle body, and then controls the compressor and the exhaust valve to compress or elongate the spring, thereby reducing The effect of the vibration. The air suspension gives the car more spirituality. When you are driving at high speed, the suspension can be hardened to improve the stability of the car body. When driving on low-speed uneven roads for a long time, the control unit will soften the suspension to improve the comfort of the car.
Since the birth of the air suspension in the mid-nineteenth century, it has undergone a century of development, and has experienced "pneumatic spring-airbag composite suspension→semi-active air suspension→central charge and discharge air suspension" and other variations. It was not used in trucks, buses, cars and rail cars until the 1950s. At present, almost all foreign advanced buses use air suspension, and the proportion of heavy-duty trucks using air suspension has reached more than 80%. The application of air suspension in light-duty vehicles is also rapidly increasing.
