In commercial vehicles, leaf springs are generally used as the main elastic components. The main reason is that leaf springs can connect the axle to the body very well. The impact force is transmitted to the frame to play the role of buffer force transmission and shock absorption. The main task of the leaf spring is to transmit all the forces and moments acting between the wheels and the body, and to relieve the shocks of the bumpy road surface transmitted to the body. The load and the resulting vibration of the bearing system can ensure the normal driving operation of the vehicle. In addition to the damping effect, the leaf spring also functions as a guide mechanism and damping mechanism during the running operation of the vehicle body, and controls the prescribed trajectory of the vehicle body wheels to ensure good operability and stability.
